Deluxe Room

Curtain Bluff’s most affordable accommodations, the 18 Deluxe Rooms fill a two-story Caribbean-style villa right on our “surf” beach, a short walk down a shaded pathway from the bar and restaurant.

Nine rooms are on the beach level, with spacious terraces that lead straight out on to the sand. Spread out on the floor above, nine more have verandahs looking out over the sand and sea to the distant headland. All are decorated in a colorful West-Indian style, with white woods and sea-grass furniture, accented by rich blues that echo the color of the sea.

Terrace Room

The Terrace room is the most popular choice for newly-weds and honeymooners, thanks to its private location at the very top of the bluff, and breathtaking views over the beach, Morris Bay and the Caribbean Sea.

White walls, pale-pastel fabrics, one-of-a-kind furnishings and glowing woods give the room a sense of calm, timeless sophistication. Its large 567-square-foot terrace with an elevated Jacuzzi is the ideal spot for private relaxation and dining.

Executive Suite

Overlooking the “surf” beach but a few steps higher up the bluff, the 6 one- and two-bedroom Executive Suites are more private and secluded. Their split-level interiors are light and airy, decorated with natural-wood and sea-grass furniture and bright, natural colors. To the side of the large living room there is a sun-drenched garden patio and, upstairs, a breakfast nook and a 16-foot-wide dining terrace that make the most of the panoramic views.

Executive Deluxe

Set into the rocky edge of the bluff, the 5 Executive Deluxe Rooms have same décor, bedroom and bathroom as the Executive One-bedroom Suites, but no living room. Their spacious terraces look out over both the sea and the resort’s “surf” beach.

When combined with an Executive Suite (using an interconnecting door), it creates the perfect space for two couples or a family — with three different levels, a shared living room and well-separated bedrooms

Junior Suite

Our 40 Junior Suites are spread through two-story villas right on the resort’s “surf” beach, just a stone’s throw from the water. All have sunken living rooms and separate bedrooms with elegant sea-grass sofas and armchairs, accented with rich blues and greens that mirror the colors outside. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead on to verandahs and terraces looking out over the sea, palms and lushly forested shoreline.

The grand marble-and white-tile bathrooms have double sinks, big tubs and large, open-walled showers.

Grace & Morris Bay Suites
The most luxurious of Curtain Bluff’s accommodations, these two generously scaled suites occupy the third floor of a Caribbean-style villa, right on the resort’s “surf” beach.

Both suites are luxuriously furnished with blue-marble bathrooms, colonial furniture, richly colored fabrics and lush palms. The bedroom and adjoining living room lead out on to a sweeping verandah with sun-chairs and a Jacuzzi, the perfect place for private sunbathing or cocktails under the stars.

The suites can be linked to a Junior Suite to create a two-bedroom suite. Extended groups and families can take over the whole floor (four bedrooms).

This long established luxurious resort is enjoying a new lease of life with a new wing and airy suites, giving us bright colours, bougainvillea and local artefacts. Hotel Restaurants and Bars
French-born Christophe Blatz has been overseeing the kitchen at Curtain Bluff as Executive Chef for the past three seasons, and was Sous Chef for the previous seven years. Christophe Blatz trained under such notable chefs as Alain Ducasse and cooked in some of the finest Michelin star-rated kitchens in France including Les Ambassadeurs restaurant in the Hotel du Crillon Paris.
Breakfast and dinner are served al fresco in the Main Dining Room with sweeping views of the gardens. Lunch is served around the main bar terrace or in the more casual atmosphere of the Beach Club, which has been restyled with luxurious teak furniture. In-room dining is available during all meal hours.
Afternoon tea is served on the Sugar Mill Terrace, and at cocktail hour, guests can enjoy hot and cold hors d'oeuvres inside the Sugar Mill Bar or on its romantic terrace.
Live music is played nightly for dancing in the Garden Pavilion. There is also a weekly beach party luncheon with a live steel-drum band and Caribbean buffet.


DRESS CODE:
Attire is very casual during the day, but be sure to wear beach cover-ups in the dining room. From December 19th through April 14th, a jacket is required for gentlemen from 7:00 pm except Sunday and Wednesday. At other times gentlemen are requested to wear long pants (no jeans please), a collared shirt and dress shoes in the evening.

All Inclusive Package
The all-inclusive plan includes three meals per day, bar drinks, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres at cocktail time, the weekly beach party luncheon, and nightly entertainment. The Beach Club restaurant was restyled with luxurious teak furniture, and a new Chef from Italy, Franco Parisi, joined the multi-talented team.

Children
Are welcome except in February (not accepted under 8 yrs). Children under 6 yrs are not allowed in the dining room or the bar after 7pm and those aged 6 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. During the school holidays early dinners are available.
Children’s room and activities

scheduled for young guests including video nights (with DVDs on a large flat screen) and PCs for older children to play computer games. The kids room is complimentary for 4-10 year olds and supervised Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm. Year round children can get involved with the following exciting activities:
